Scope and Contents

Robert Vialpando. CD is a copy of a Presto disc, four spindle holes, for home recordings. Note on envelope says recording was given to Cobos by Robert Vialpando. Cobos note says La Carbonera is cancion muy antigua, very old song, from Alcalde, New Mexico, August 20, 1947. Begins at 00:03 and ends at 4:50. 1. La Carbonera (good recording, by Vialpando and Montoya, two men singing, guitar accompaniment); 2. Blanca Flor (woman singing, guitar accompaniment, fair recording); 3. Las Palomitas (woman and man sining, duet, guitar accompaniment, good recording).
