Ruben Cobos. CD 458 is a copy of two audiodiscs recordings, in one album sleeve, by Audio Device, Inc., New York, NY, they are a bit larger than a 45, for recording at home, with two spindle holes, date written on disc is April 18, 1954, Ruben Cobos, singing in Spanish, good recording, some noise. 1. Te Quiero, dijiste, divina mujer (almost like opera style, love song, with piano acompaniment); 2. Altiva y orgullosa (with piano accompaniment, almost like opera style); 3. Mi Severiana, buscando a mi Severiana, una cancion Mexicana (with guitar and violin acompaniment, use of local place names while searching for her, Mexico, Nuevo Leon, and in New Mexico, Algodones, Rio Bonito, Pena Blanca, Santa Fe, Antonito, Cieneguilla, etc, he meets an American woman in San Miguel who wants him but he is loyal to his Severiana, etc.).
