Cecilio Garcia, b. 1915, Tucumcari, NM. 1. El pinonero (pinon, pine nut picker, African American Black and Mexican, drunk man confuses them for God and Judas, the devil); 2. La Muerte Madrina (chiste, joke, the dead godmother, chicken, old woman).

Santiago Rivera, b. 1944, Clovis, NM, now in Tucumcari, NM. (Fair recording). 1. El pollo (chiste, joke, chicken for breakfast, hunger); 2. Adivinanza (riddle, shepherd of twenty sheep, math problem, logic, how many sheep did shepherd have, eight); 3. Adivinanza (riddle, las sillas y chango, logic, math problem, how many chairs are left over when the monkeys are seated?); 4. Los astronautas mejicanos (poor recording, chiste, joke,astronauts, Mexico, France, Russia, Germany, United States); 5. Sacrificio por la patria (chiste, joke, sacrifice for home country, from top of the Empire State Building, makes fun of Mexican); 6. El diablo y la adivinanza (chiste, joke, el pedo, the fart); 7. El wino y el cura (cuento, drunk man and the priest); 8. La viejita fumadora y el diablo (chiste, old smoking woman and devil, woman needs a cigarette, devil appears and offers her some if she promises to go with him when she dies); 9. Los barcos de guerra (chiste, ships of different countries, Mexico, Japan, Germany, America, submarines, World War II, makes fun of the Mexican ship, accidentally shoots another); 10.
