Pope, 1974: Cecilia Casillas, b. 1934, Albuquerque, NM. 1. Pipis y gallos y otros juegos (children, games, Cecilia and girl friends recite some games, Pipis, Gallina culeca and Oremos. She said Oremos used for Halloween in some places in New Mexico, other places for Christmas, Navidad; also recites verse of gato con los pies de trampo, cat rag doll); 2. Adivinanzas (three riddles, one about llaves, keys, and another about la hacha, axe); 3. Dicho (folk saying, panza llena, corazon contento); 4. La rana (fair recording, song, poem, recited, agglutinate, about a frog, for children); 5. El pata de palo (relato, tells how misbehaving children were told a bogey man would take them away if they did not behave, reason they turned out so good in life, family, discipline); 6. Creencia (folk belief, she remembers her mother said not to drink coffee as children or skin would turn out dark or black, family, food); 7. El mal hijo (folk belief, story of boy who struck his mother and became lame, so children told not to strike parents lest their hand would shrivel up, respected elders, family, discipline); 8. Relato (story of weather in 1918 or 1919, wet summer, early winter, streams froze, heavy snow, farmers and ranchers suffered, loss of animals, sheep froze to death, cattle); 9. El cometa (relate, when comet appeared summer of 1910, people believed world had come to an end, committed suicide, Halley's comet, astronomy); 10. Adivinanza (riddle about letter, letra O); 11. Relato (story of her great grandfather, who was captured by Native American Indians, he hid in cave and a spider wove web over entrance and Indians not look for him there, Cobos notes similar tale of Robert Bruce and the Spider); 12. Los santos, rezos, etc. (Cecilia talks about saints, prayers, recites one to St. Francis, she calls him San Jorge); 13. San Roque (fair recording, prayer, song saying people honor San Roque, but not know how to dress him, use clothes of other saints); 14. Misa en Manassa, Colorado (holy mass, customs in Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico, women sit in the front pews, men in the back, if not pay their monthly church dues, lose their pews, church, religion); 15. Mayordomos (most churches still have sponors or mayordomos, job to care for the church during the year, considered a great honor, religion, community, faith).

Delfina Garcia, b. 1896, Albuquerque, NM. 1. Corrido (fair recording, ballad, recited, written by her grandmother, Andrea Suazo de Salazar in 1944, for then thirteen year old grand daughter, mentioned San Sebastian and Santanela as places, and visperas, prayers of San Juan, etc., women, children); 2. Versos (folk poetry, Mrs. Casaus recites a verse, on how difficult it is to live with a woman, marriage, women) ; 3. Remedios caseros (she talks about home remedies in general, cures, onion and oregano boiled for cough and chest inflamation, etc., health, medicine).

Rodriguez, 1974: Felicitas Rodriguez, b. 1914, San Luis, Potosi, Mexico. 1. Cuento (folk tale, princess has a mole on her body, king will let any man marry her who can tell where it is, man sees her swimming one day and the mole, wins the contest and her hand in marriage); 2. Cuento, El muchacho flojo (folk tale, a young man hunting is about to kill a deer, when deer offers to help him find the princesses who come to the nearby lake to swim, hunter marries one of the girls, his adventures).
