Trinidad Delgado, b. 1897, Las Vegas, NM. El que hizo reir a la princesa (Part II, after the young man marries the princess, he keeps working for a ranch owner, the ranch owner bets the young man that he is not married to a princess, he loses the bet and the young man wins everything the man owns, folk tale).
Delia Moya, b. 1913, Albuquerque, NM. Dos leperos (two rogues, thieves, try to make money, one pretends to be dead, his friend collects money for the funeral, a drunk comes by, wants to know cause of death, rogues are found out and have to leave town, folk tale, anecdote).
Trinidad Delgado, b. 1897, Las Vegas, NM. 1. La vieja bruja (los bueyecitos story, an old witch turns a girl's brothers into oxen, then turns the girl into a dove, one day the king traps the beautiful dove and takes out a hair pin with which the old witch had converted the girl into a dove, restored to human form the girl marries the king, folk tale); 2. Muerte de Reyes Ruiz (relato, poor recording, corrido de Reyes Ruiz, how he dies at the hands of friends who invite him to go with them to a dance, very popular song throughout the Southwest).

Silviano Chavez, b. 1913, Albuquerque, NM. 1. Maria Siviria (a girl has been discourteous to the king and he is angry and wants to marry her in order to punish her, the night of the wedding Maria Siviria makes a dummy and puts it on her bed, when the king comes to kill Maria, she hides under the bed, sugar gets in the king's face and he finds the girl very sweet and is sorry he has killed her, Maria comes out from under the bed, story ends happily, folk tale, women); 2. Adivinanzas (four riddles, one about the life of a person, five senses, ten commandments, etc.).
