Felicitas Montano, b. 1893, Tome, NM. Good to fair recording. Indita de San Luis (sings song to San Luis Gonzaga, asking for health and protection for our soldiers at war, military service, religious indita, probably World War I, 1918).

Felicitas Montano, b. 1893, Tome, NM. 1. Versos (recites ten verses, folk poetry, one about a find green gem stone, piedra verde); 2. Adivinanzas (recites nine riddles, one about la santa mas madrugadora, Santa Aurora); 3. Refranes (four folk sayings); 4. Datos personales (personal information, she was born November 26, 1893, eighty one years old, she daughter of Juan Maria Sedillo and Teresita Zamora of Tome, New Mexico, lived in Tome all her life); 5. Corrido de Kennedy (sings her own version of the ballad on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy); 6. Corrido del armistico (her own version of the ballad at end of World War I, 1918 armistice treaty, peace); 7. Indita del Rio Grande (ballad about the 1884 Rio Grande flood that almost hit Tome, flood wiped out San Marcial in 1929, feelings of the villagers as the waters of the river threaten to leave hundreds homeless, Father Ralliere inspecting the foundation of the local church); 8. La Llorona (legend, explanations as to who the whaling woman is are given, one night a group of men hear the cries, take their shotguns and investigate, find thieves stealing corn and chile, shoot at them and end the wailing sounds); 2. Maria y su familia (relato, an old woman named Maria invokes the name of holy Virgin Mary for help with her poor family, the Virgin appears and asks Maria to go to a grotto, her family problems are solved but she dies soon after, women, religion, church, miracle); 3. Juan de Dios (relato, a young man feels a small pebble hitting him on the shoulder, at the precise moment of his grandfather's death); 4. Un baile en Cuaresma (relato, a girl is dancing during Lent provocatively, like a strip tease, many small pigs enter the dance hall to do her harm, calling out the holy names of Jesus and Mary the pigs disappear leaving a stench of sulfar in the air, devil, women); 5. El borreguero (relato, Juan Manzanares, a shepherd, is returning home from herding his sheep, horse rears and throws him, he hears the sound of chains coming behind him, as he gets home he smells food and arrives to see his father dead); 6. El que venia del baile (relato, a man is returning home from a dance, he finds a child all wrapped up, the child shows him ugly teeth, it is the devil).
