Corrido de Belen (a young bride of three days is slain by her husband Hipolito, his lying mother does not like the wife and tells him that she has another lover and he mistakenly kills her, ballad, muerte, women, murder, crime); 2. Los vaqueros de Kansas (fifteen Mexican American cowboys are taking 500 steers to Kansas, weather, winter storms on Llano Estacado, Staked Plains, a young cowboy killed by steer in corral, foreman has a difficult time explaining to the cowboy's mother why, ballad); 3. Corrido de Rafael Castillo (ballad, Rafael and squad of his soldiers goes after Manuel Rivas who has stolen jewlery, in his possession, said he got it from Wilfido Fuentes, Rafael goes after Fuentes, both died in gun fight, crime, theft, muerte, death); 4. Corrido de Carlotita (ballad, Mexico, man takes her into the hills, Mexican rural police, La Acordada, find her dead body with disfigured face and take it to her mother, she asks police to cover it up, does not want to see it, women, crime, murder, rape, abduction); 5. Decima, Esta noche con la luna y manana con el sol (he sings old religious poem, about making a beautiful crown for the church made of precious stones, gold, silver, so beautiful it shines both in moonlight of night and sunlight of day, religion, faith); 6. Decima de la baraja (decima a lo humano, humor, singer admits his is sinning by playing cards, game, gambling, leisure); 7. Cancion, El Pajarillo (folk song, a free little bird singing in a tree is captured by a man and put in a beautiful, comfortable cage, but still bird complains, feels like he is in prison, wants to be free); 8. Corrido de Manuel Garza de Leon (ballad, he is condemned to twenty years in prison, when on train to prison realizes other prisoners with him are a group of bad men, crime).
