Trujillo: J. Felix Trujillo, b. 1904, Raton, NM. Part II, Cuento de tres hijos (see CD20).
Rodriguez: Leonora Rodriguez, b. 1917, Espanola, NM. 1. Refranes (seventeen proverbs); 2. El venado y la venada (fair recording,indita, four quatrains from a lyrical folk song, deer go to Santa Fe to sell goods for sugar and coffee); 3. Un borracho (folk tale, a drunkard finds a baby who talks to him and shows its teeth, drunkard reforms, drinking); 4. Cuento de brujas (witch story, a popular Pueblo Indian chief dies, a local Hispano is called to resurrect him, the night of the first wake, witches and evil spirits invade the room to stop the Hispano from his task, cacique, Native American Indian, curandero, muerte, death, funeral).
Ruddy: Jesus Romero, b. 1887, Bosque, NM. 1. La divina Muerte (folk tale, (poor man shares his food with Death but not the Lord, because God does not treat everyone equally, Death does not discriminate, other adventures of the poor man); 2. Las tres preguntas (folk tale, king asked one of two identical twins three questions, when the first can't answer the boys switch places, and second one is successful, other adventures).
Ruddy: Reyes Turrieta, b. 1918, Bosque, NM. Part I, Gregorillo (folk tale, Gregorillo has a mischevious brother who tells lies about him to king, that Gregorillo can steal a giant's horse and parrot, and capture the giant, when king challenges him, he accomplishes the deeds, continued).
