DeFlice, 1969: Lelo Ortega, b. 1901, Albuquerque, NM. 1. Cuentos (folk tale, Bertoldo and a folk poet exchange versos, Bertoldo spits on the poet); 2. Los amigos, el difunto y los ladrones (good recording, folk tale, in order not to pay his debts, a man pretends to be dead, a friend expects payment and goes to the church to collect, thieves come in to devide their loot, when man sits up they are scared away leaving their loot for the two men, death, burial, funeral); 2. Pedro de Urdemalas (folk tale, Pedro and brother Juan living with their mother, Pedro overfeeds her and she dies, blames Juan, other episodes); 3. El conejo que hacia mandados (PartI, folk tale, variation of a tale in which a rabbit is sold to a king who complains that the rabbit left and did not do errands for him).
