Martinez: Deluvina Velasquez, b. 1896, Los Ojos, NM. Good recording. 1. La cenicienta golosa (folk tale, Sopitas de miel, Cobos says most complete variant of Cinderella, various episodes); 2. Los siete hijos (folk tale, los bueycitos, see CD 13 repeat).

Rodriguez: Vidal Jesus Trujillo, b. 1885, Santa Cruz, NM. Good recording. 1. Autobiografia (Part I, reminiscence, life story, originally from La Madera, later lived in Santa Cruz, a retired self taught lawyer, dynamic speaker, continued); 2. Las cuatro casadas, folk song (describing marital problems, composed for a couple from El Rito and La Petaca); 3. Cuando salimos a Kansas (ballad describing a 1906 cattle drive to Kansas, one of the most complete versions of this corrido, ranching); 4. Part II, Autobiografia. Part III, autobiography is on CD 75. CHeck.

Rodriguez: Juan Martinez, El Guique, NM. El herrero que vendio su alma (Part I, folk tale, Miseria, a poor the blacksmith, the Lord has him reshoe his donkey, and in return the Lord grants Miseria three wishes. Later Miseria sold his soul to have fun with the devil), continued.
