Anonymous: Unidentified, 1970: Tranquilino Padilla, Albuquerque. Indita del Indio Victorio, song fragment, good recording. Tranquilino says his grandfather, Desiderio Trujillo, composed this indita.

Cobos, 1970: Josie Lovato, Santo Domingo Pueblo. 1. Josie sings a short Indian song, chant from Santo Domingo Pueblo, good to fair recording); 2. The evil spirit and the buffalo hunters (folk tale, a Native American Indian buffalo hunter meets a man who turns out to be an evil spirit, devil, who kills all the buffalo hunters on the plains, Great Plains, Llano Estacado, death, muerte, hunting).

Gomez, 1970: Juan Marquez, b. 1891, Las Vegas, NM. 1. Aladino (folk tale, New Mexico version of Aladdin and his magic lamp, Arabian Nights); 2. Una viejita, el muchacho y su vaca (folk tale, after thieves rob a boy of his cow, he goes to their den, ties up the leader and gets all the things they have stolen, children, robbery) ; 3. La Cenicientilla, Cenicienta (Part I, folk tale, New Mexico variation of Cinderella, three daughters, orphan girl, the Blessed Virgin Mary helps her instead of the fairy godmother).
