Turner: Mrs. Frances Jaramillo, b. 1905, La Ladera, NM. Los dos conejos - (folk story, animal fable, moral for children, greedy villain rabbit drowns in the well trying to get all the cheese).
Turner: Mrs. Cristina Rubi, b. 1913, Belen, NM. 1. La hormiguita (folk tale, agglutinate, about a baby ant whose leg is broken by a snowflake, the ant complains to the snow, the wind and the elements in trying to fix her leg, insect story); 2. La princesa con dos pretendientes (fair recording, song in story, folk tale, both a princess and the queen love a commoner, love song in context of the story, women).

La muchacha que se subio a un manzano (anecdote, the girl who steals apples from a neighbor's yard, advised to get them from tree, not ground, children, women); 2. Dos hermanos, (folk tale, son overfeeds mother and kills her, tricks local priest into free burial, funeral, church, religion, other episodes, variant of Pedro de Urdemalas).

Story of the sale of the Tome Land Grant; tierra, la merced, corrido, El circo de Tome; El corrido de aqui y de alli (some family genealogy, his mother was Leona Sanchez y Gallegos, father was Manuel Atocha Baca y Vigil, mother's brother was Aurelio Sanchez y Gallegos); 3. Rezos (En el monte murio Cristo, and an alabado, prayers to El Senor, Cuando para el anciano San Joaquin, good recording, alabado, was composed by Demetria Olona, of Tome); 4. Guadalupita, song and commentary (includes a native Hispanic ballad - Indita de Cleofas Griego).
