The poor man and the rich man (folk tale, two compadres, a poor employee tries to trick his rich employer into buying a whistle that revives the dead and a hat that pays accounts); 2. Dos senoritas buscando quelites (anecdote, they find a good patch but are stopped by a sign on the fence, No Hunting - junten, women, language); 3. Dos senoras cerca de un aeropuerto (chiste, an old woman never having seen an airplane, is told they carry bombas - bombs, and fears they will come after her, fear of war, World War II, women); 4. Una pareja (chiste, el hombre queria peerse, a man, his girl friend, a gun and him having to release gas, the rabbit and the skunk, women); 5. Un negro y un mexicano (anecdote, a drunk Mexican invites a Black African American man home, dreams of a fire, and waking up sees the Black face and thinks he was blackened by the fire, Mexico); 6. Versos, (folk poetry, two verses, at home of mother in law man had to sleep with the dog, another about his cow) ; 7. Dos jovenes hacen aullar a una viejita (anecdote, two youngsters make a bet, which one can make an old woman of a 100 years old hoot like an owl, one wins it when he asked her when was last time she attended a dance, her reply, women).

Rael: Mrs. Enedina Rael, b. 1931, Peralta, NM. 1. Don Cacahuate y Dona Cebolla (anecdote, their train trip into town, railroad); 2. Don Cacahuete ensena a decir mentiras a su hijo (anecdote, learning to lie, the son, and a fawn nursing on a mountainside); 3. Don Cacahuate va a la caza (anecdote, the pond full of ducks, bending his rifle barrel down, shooting all the ducks); 4. Don Cacahuate y los bandidos (anecdote, the bandits, tells Dona Cebolla to get the gun, from where she asks).
Turner: Mrs. Frances Jaramillo, b. 1905, La Ladera, NM, south of Isleta Pueblo. El viejo que se caso con una jovencita (Part I, folk tale, an old man steals the wings of a dove, dove turns out to be an enchanted princess, whom he marries, more episodes, women).
