Martinez: Pedro Trujillo, Chimayo, NM. Mexican folk song, humor. Relacion, El casamiento del huitlacoche (seems to be reading as a poem, marriage, Mexico, poor recording).

Martinez: Lupita Naranjo, Chimayo, NM. Adivinanzas (riddles, she and a man enchange twelve advinanzas or puzzle questions and give corresponding solutions or answers, el oro, la naranja, la media, la ceniza, el pan, la vela, etc.).

Martinez: Placida Martin, Chimayo, NM. Memoria, en memoria de Precides Martinez (poem for niece who died December 29, 1933, 7 years old, daughter of Santiago A. Martinez and Josefita Rivera, children, women).

Romance infantil, children, ballad, El senor Don Gato (fair recording, while searching for a mate, male cat falls from roof, is badly injured, on death bed asks for chicken soup. Man reads it, lyrics only, learned it from a school teacher, education, humor).

Entriega de novios (fair recording, she composed for marriage of Viola Montoya and Del Barela, December 18, 1971, entrega, name of people Higinio Romero, Esther Romero, Charles D. Romero, Jose Sanchez, Manuel Baca, Connie Baca, Jose Montoya, Maria Montoya, instrumental).

Martinez: Barbara Sanchez, b. 1913 or 1915, Belen, NM. With husband. Proverbs, principles and jokes (reads 126 sayings, proverbs from her own collection, dichos, chistes. One is an anecdote of a man, with triplet babies, and how much heaven blessed and laughed at him, marriage, women, children, family. Also a story, relato of man who found three piles of metal, gold, lead and iron, soldiers come for him, incomplete, see CD 31).

Martinez: Eduplio Ortega, b. 1916 or 18, Bernardo, NM. Pedro de Urdemalas, Medieval story (folk tale, Pedro, his working for the king, loss of the hogs in the mud, hogs ears and tails, and winning the hand of the princess).
