Plans for individual buildings, including later additions and remodels and original plans for a structure which Dean remodeled are filed together under the original, earliest Hal Dean job number. Plans for architects under the Dean firm are also included, as are several non- Hal Dean documents used for study proposes for related Hal Dean projects.

Significant structures represented in the Hal Dean Drawings collection include: University of New Mexico’s “Zimmerman III” library expansion (1973) Albuquerque, New Mexico; the City/County Municipal Office Building (1982) Albuquerque, New Mexico; Temple Lodge no. 6 (1984) Albuquerque, New Mexico; and the Scottsdale Mustang Library (1984) Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Hal Dean Drawings and Plans Collection include work created by Dean under the auspices of the firms Dean, Hunt, and Associates; and Dean, Kruger and Associates.
