Scope and Content Note
From the Collection:
This collection consists of one string bound paper scrapbook album with leather covers. The front cover is embossed with the University of New Mexico seal. It contains invitations to dances, personal photographs, and other mementos pertaining to Huning’s time as a student at the University of New Mexico. Examples includes playbills for local theater productions and newspaper clippings that focus on Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. It also includes Huning’s letter of acceptance to UNM, pending her passing of an entrance examination. There are also pressed flower corsages she wore to some dances and filled out dance cards. The album also includes a letter to Huning seeking information about heirs to an inheritance, which may include her. Many of the pages in the album are blank.
