The Channell Graham Drawings and Plans collection contains architectural drawings and plans for buildings and projects in New Mexico, Colorado and South Dakota, including commercial, state and county public buildings; state parks and recreational facilities; private and public institutions; private residences; and churches. Also included are historical restorations of Native American pueblos, missions, and churches, for which Graham is well known.
Significant structures in the collection include Paolo Soleri Outdoor Indian Theatre, Santa Fe, New Mexico; Acoma Sky City Master Plan, Acoma, New Mexico; Leasburg and Manzano State Parks, New Mexico; Kit Carson Memorial Park, Taos, New Mexico; and the Sioux Indian Cultural Center, Rapid City, South Dakota. His notable Albuquerque projects include the Rio Grande Zoo Master Plan (the Feline Exhibit with cottonwoods and waterfalls was awarded the 1968 American Institute of Architects award of merit); and the Indian Assembly of God Church.
