These prints, many originally published by A. Vanegas Arroyo circa 1890-1910, are restrikes printed by the Taller de Gráfica Popular and issued by La Estampa Mexicana in 1942. The hand-lettered cloth folio includes a bilingual text and the signature of Leopoldo Méndez. This is copy No. 62. Prignitz numbers: 427-451.
Issued in paper portfolio (25 cm.) with mounted cover-title; text and list of plates on pages 2 & 3 of cover. Portfolio mounted within cloth-covered boards with title: José Guadalupe Posada, 1851-1913.
