Scope and Content

From the Collection: The Carroll C. Thomas Film Collection contains home movies filmed by Carroll C. Thomas in the 1930s and 1940s. Included in these films are images of downtown Albuquerque and Santa fe, Taos Pueblo, Boy Scout Jamborees, Santa Fe Fiesta (Fiestas de Santa Fe), skiing, Native American dancers and pottery, Washington D.C., Desert View Watchtower, road trips, Aztec Ruins National Monument, San Ildefonso potter Maria Martinez, driving through the snow, and Carroll C. Thomas' children and family.

Also included are photocopies of clippings regarding Thomas' work with the Boy Scouts, a short biography written by Thomas' granddaughter, and a photograph of an older Thomas.
