Scope and Content

From the Collection: This collection is arranged by subject. Tibbitts’ images are of various sites along the Southern Pacific Railroad stops in the American Southwest and Mexico. These negatives include images in Arizona of the Grand Canyon, Canyon de Chelly, Canyon de Muerto, Segi Canyon, Ganado, and the Apache Trail. In New Mexico there are images of Laguna Pueblo, Acoma Pueblo, Tesuque Pueblo, Zuni Pueblo, Isleta Pueblo, Bandelier National Monument, Pecos, and Raton. In Mexico the images are of Juarez and Piedras Negras, Coahuila. Also included are images of the Panama-California Exposition, El Paso, Texas, Utah, California, and Nevada. Black-and-white negative is 8.5x6.5 and print is 8x10.
