From the Collection:
The collection contains photographs which depict former Navajo uranium miners from the Four Corners area and members of their families. These portraits were compiled for, and are reproduced in, Memories Come to Us in the Rain and the Wind: Oral Histories and Photographs of Navajo Uranium Miners and Their Families. Cassette tapes and transcripts of the oral histories are available in the manuscript collection.
