Scope and Contents

Desette was a teacher at Ft. Wingate boarding school. Letter discusses Desette's teaching experience. Used derogatory, negative and discriminatory language towards the Indian students and their families. Gives details about persons, witchcraft, Zuni society, religion and particularly about Zuni girl (Daisey) she took in to live with her. Similar accounts by Dessette published in "Home Mission Monthly" (July 1890).
