Scope and Contents

The Project Files consist essentially of printouts of the files on the associated CDs as described above. Please see notes below detailing items in the Project Files that are not included on the CDs. In general, the Project Files include genealogies/family trees, printed sheets of the family and historical photographs, an index to the photographs and images, and transcripts and summarized transcripts of the oral history interviews. Some files also include additional materials such as scans of documents, articles or images of artwork. The materials in the folders remain as created by the researcher.

Access Restrictions
Prior to being granted access to interview project files, recordings and transcripts in the collection researchers must sign the attached consent form, agreeing not to disclose information that would be an invasion of privacy of living individuals, not to divulge names of individuals/research subjects mentioned and to hold harmless and to indemnify UNM and its employees for any loss or damage to them occasioned by the release of the informational content of these materials. This restriction expires January 1, 2050.
