Abstract
Mario Atencio attended the UNM and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Native American Studies and English. He continued his education at Arizona State University and received his master's degree (M.S.). He was raised on the Navajo Reservation in the Torreon Area and graduated from Cuba High School. He also attended Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute.
