Huning-Connell Duplicate Scale-Weight Book, 1914

 File — Box: 13, Folder: 6
Identifier: CD 1

Scope and Contents

Due to their dealing in hay and grain, the Huning-Connell firm had a large platform scale for weighing large quantities and then deducting the tare (container weight-wagon, truck, etc.) to derive the net weight. This book is primarily a record of alfalfa loads. As hay dealers, the firm both brokered and traded in their own right.
