Scope and Contents

  1. CD 69: Title unknown, single male singer with drum and rattle. At 21 minutes a young man (Kahn) begins speaking and addressing his grandfather and grandmother with an audio message.
  2. CD 70: Title unknown, male singer with drum and rattle. At minute 13, voice register drops and is distinctly different from previous material. Another singer? No speaking.
  3. CD 71: Title unknown, male singer with drum and rattle. At 6:28 tape slows down drastically for 20 seconds then normal quality returns. At 14:30 style of singing changes, voice register drops. Corn dance, hunting songs.
  4. CD 72: Title unknown, male singer with rattle. Reel box label reads: Yaka Hunnomch (sp.?) Corn dance songs, singer Lorenzo Aragon, Laguna Pueblo. Na-wish. Laguna Pueblo and Acoma Pueblo dances, but danced at other pueblos.
  5. CD 73: Title unknown, quality worsens at 15:24. Better quality returns at 31:35. Reel box label reads: Con Singing Chakucha (sp?.), Lorenzo, Corn dance songs, Deer hunting Songs, various tribes.
