GOODBYE, MONIQUE (80), June 2, 2017

 File — Box: 193, Folder: 12

Scope and Contents

BOOK ONE labelled as Jmonique.18p. Clean draft, pretty short, well-written. *I really liked it. But . . . I just couldn't stop fooling around with it, and I kept thinking the material in BOOK TWO was also important to the story. I was stuck in wanting to bring Monique's brief life alive, and yet also tell the story of Dad's life, and mine, after her death. But how to merge the two BOOKS into one good manuscript? 192 pages.
