Scope and Contents
BOOK ONE and BOOK TWO, labelled Jmonique.17u in a clean draft. Includes Morris Witten's February 2017 critique of the book and my letter of gratitude in return. BOOK ONE goes to p. 249. Then there's a 16-page "Flashback" to Pop's life between 1935-1937 as a field zoologist for the American Museum. Followed by BOOK TWO from 250-406. Then a 13-page "Flashback" of Monique during 1932-1933, detailing her 1932 visits to Italy and Belgium, then her return to America, trip out west, working at anthropology lab in Santa Fe, eding with 1933 Santa Fe fiestas. "Flashbacks" are another lame idea! BOOK TWO ends with a 20-page Epilogue from page 407-426. Hence, 426 total pages (plus 29 "Flashback" pages

Access Restrictions
The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
