Scope and Contents

BOOK ONE, labelled Jmonique.17k-short version. Clean draft with some Post-Its. Starts with Dad and Monique's meeting, then their courtship, marriage, and her death. Followed by an epilogue from page 229-269 of Monique's 1931 arrival in U.S., Peacock Point, meeting with Oqwa Pi, travel out west, and ending during 1933 Santa Fe fiestas. Followed by 12 pages of acknowledgements. The structure doesn't work at all. Bad choice! 269 pages.

Access Restrictions

The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
