Contains "Prologue One" of 57 pages from 2012 Jmonique.7. "Prologue Two" is actually Chapter One and pagination restarts here. Many hand corrections, edits, and inserts done over Feb-March 2013. Still about Monique and David childhoods, teenage years, Monique's diaries of her 1931-33 trips to Peacock Point and Out West to Santa Fe. Her work at Lab. of Anthropology there. Dad's childhood, early 1930s wiseass letters from prep school, field zoology adventures. Includes their courtship, marriage, and Monique's 1942 death, ending when Dad departs Miami afterwards. 403 pages, plus 57. Total of 460 pages.

Access Restrictions

The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
