Scope and Contents

Box 3 of original draft. Contains: my visit to French grandmother Mamita in Barcelona, 1960. Year with Mamita, 1962-63. Visits to Mamita 1964, 1966. Pop and Brownie fight over child support, 1964-65. My furious blowup with Brownie, 1968. 25 pages on selling French family apartment in Paris. Letters between me and Pop during his UCCS teaching years. Dad as professor; divorcing Kathy; his affairs. My letters to Mamita, her "allowances" to me. Mamita death in 1977. Dad's ideas about language, etc. Human survival, Arthur Koestler, Dad's poem "Language is a tricky tool." Pop's 1970 dream journals, regular journals, childhood sex, guilt about Monique death, dreams of her death. Pop depressed over "domination of women." 219 pages.

Access Restrictions

The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
