Scope and Contents

Box 2 of my original draft. Contains Dad in Marine Corps, WWII, married to Brownie 1944, she adopts me. Dad bans Mamita from seeing me. Dad in CIA 1951-1959, Argentine fiasco, Brownie bitter divorce 1956-57. My 1957 summer out west, Pop love letters to 3rd wife Kathy, Grandpa death 1958. Me and Pop studying crows in Washington D.C. Kathy/Dad in Berkeley, Kath's breakdowns, Dad's affairs, his struggle for psycholinguistics PhD in Berkeley. He moves to Colorado Springs with Kathy to be psych prof at UCCS (Univ. of Colorado in C. Springs) in 1967. 150 pages.

Access Restrictions

The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
