GOODBYE, MONIQUE (11), 2008

 File — Box: 186, Folder: 25

Scope and Contents

This is a total sidetrack. It's me again trying to write a raucous, obnoxious, satirical novel that includes my life, Pop's life, Pop and Monique, a spoof on Taos and current society, and climbing in the mountains, loving the natural world. 37 typed pages (that include many hand corrections, and 5 hand-written additional in the middle of the ms., at the end of which I wrote "This sucks, John." There are 5 handwritten pages of notes about "plot." Also scribbles on 5 envelopes that raucously start the novel. It was Pop and Spoon Mountain, Goodbye, Monique, and god knows what else. A complete non-sequitur.
