Scope and Contents

This file contains five edited versions of the 78 page July 20, 2009 copy of the story. I was cutting the story down so it could be a speech I would give on September 18, 2012, in Santa Fe at a benefit for a Taos environmental group, Amigos Bravos. 1.) is the July 20, 2009 version with Post-Its for the start of the edit. 2.) is an August 2012 version of the story, 42 pages long. 3.) is a September 1 version 36 pages long. 4.) is a September 2 version 35 pages long. 5.) is the final version of the speech, 34 pages long, that I gave at the Randall Davies Audubon Center in Santa Fe at the benefit for Amigos Bravos. All versions except the final draft have some hand corrections.

Access Restrictions

The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
