NANCY AND JULIANA PFISTER, HAWAII, DECEMBER 1991
File — Box: 181, Folder: 52
Scope and Contents
4 color photos of Nancy and her daughter, Juliana, in Ulupalakua, on Maui, in Hawaii, where Nancy had access to an abandoned sugar mill! We stayed there for several weeks in December 1991. Interesting to visit Kipahulu and Hana on the other side of the island, and go over to La Haina, where we actually went down in a submarine. (About 110 transparencies that I took of Hawaii can be found in my slide archives, in Slide Box 20.) (A great sorrow, I've just learned [March 1, 2014], is that Nancy was murdered in Aspen at the end of February 2014 by people who'd been renting her house in Aspen while Nancy was in Australia. But they had failed to pay the rent so Nancy had returned to deal with that and they killed her.)
