Scope and Contents

This is a roll of B&W film (21 pictures) of Taos I took on my visit to Justin Locke in Llano Quemada, June 1957. I worked for Justin's brother, Goodwin Locke, in Virginia. These are photos of Justin's house, me at work, the Llano/Talpa valley, Ranchos church, Taos Pueblo. I consider these simple, amateurish pictures truly precious. This is a roll of B&W film (21 pictures) of Taos I took on my visit to Justin Locke in Llano Quemada, June 1957. There are 34 B&W pictures of Taos on these negatives. I borrowed Justin's camera. He had been a photographer for National Geographic. Again, these are seriously amateur photos, but I consider them precious, a record of my first visit to Taos at age 16.
