"THE MILAGRO MAN: THE IRREPRESSIBLE MULTICULTURAL LIFE AND LITERARY TIMES OF JOHN NICHOLS." DIRECTED BY KURT JACOBSEN, 2012

 Item — Box: 180, DVD: 19

Scope and Contents

This is a long, probably 80 minute, documentary/interview on DVD with me by my friend Kurt Jacobsen. Film was made by Kurt and Warren Lemming. It covers my early family life, my dad, mom, grandfather; how I was taught by naturalists; my move to New Mexico and the early days here; NM and Taos politics, particularly 1970s fight in Taos against Indian Camp Dam. There are chapters on most of the books I've written, and on many of the films I've worked on and the directors I worked with. A pretty macroscopic overview of my life and work.
