IMPACT ENVIRONMENTAL REPORTS, WEEK OF DEC. 27, 1993

 Item — Box: 180, DVD: 9

Scope and Contents

I dunno what TV station did this. Show is by the News Travel Network. Program is "Impact Environmental Reports." There are short, pithy documentaries about environmental issues from Monday through Friday. Patty Logan the reporter. MON: Earth First! protests and SLAPP suits against them in Oregon; TUES: American hotels going "green;" WED: my simple, earth-friendly lifestyle in Albuquerque; THURS: danger to coral reefs and wild islands in the Florida Keys; FRI: Clinton administration failure to be environmental enough. The shorts are well done. My brief interview was when I lived in Albuquerque for 8 months, autumn/spring 1993-94. It's fun. Even follows me riding my bike (with no hands!) in Burque, and shopping for secondhand clothes at Thriftown. It's a good tape, sent to me by the station.
