Scope and Contents
- 1. JTN skating on my favorite pond, all photos are self-portraits, Jan. 1985. I put camera on a tripod, destroyed my skate blades crunching back and forth to resent the time delay shutter. Wide-angle photos of entire pond. Bright sunshine. I couldn't tell how pics were coming out, so I took many rolls of film hoping to get a couple of decent shots. (2 pictures used in On The Mesa.) Access Restrictions
The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.

General
TOTAL: 20 SLEEVES. The 3 days (and nights) I skated on that pond were fabulous. It was so rare for the pond to have water and to freeze strong enough to withstand a skating person. And Casey racing back and forth across the ice of a different pond is interesting also.
