General
16 SLEEVES. From 1988-1998 I did these workshops in Taos with Ray, Bev and Jack Waltman, Bob Leary and others. I did an introduction to Ray's beautiful photography book, Explorations, published in 1992 by Findlay &Sampson Editions. I took the photographs in the following sleeves during the Taos workshops when I wasn't, or when I was, working with the participants. So they are mostly hasty, off the cuff images of some places where we went. Most participants were serious large format--4 x 5, or 8 x 10-- B&W photographers, and they learned much from Ray about darkroom techniques building a viable image. The workshops were really fun for me, the participants interesting. (See elsewhere in my archives for related materials: the workshop catalogues, correspondence, instruction sheets, portfolios, participants, and so forth in Box 132, Folders 27-37.)
