- 1. In Taos County--Cabresto Lake, Heart Lake, Latir Lakes, Oct. 1973. This was magical country discovered soon after my arrival in Taos. (19 slides)

- 3. JTN (John T. Nichols) trip to Latir Lakes, alone, Oct. 1973. Trout, aspens, Latir and Cabresto Lake, a deer on the trail. I camped out at Heart Lake and the Latirs.

I'd gone east for sneak preview of the Costa-Gavras film I worked on, "Missing," in Philadelphia, with my girl, Sylvia Landfair. Mike and Alan came to Philly for preview. Then I went up to N.Y. Access Restrictions
The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.

NOT MANY INTERESTING PHOTOS (EXCEPT TO ME). 16 SLEEVES. ALL SQUARE CORNERED. The first 3 sleeves are marked A, B, and C. A) contains 8 slides I took of bullfights on July 9, 1960, in Pamplona, Spain, during the feria of San FermÃn. Sleeves B) and C) contain slides of Ruby and my honeymoon in Maine, 1965; a few shots of us in N.Y. around that time; a couple of pictures of us in N.Y.; and, finally, 2 almost illegible slides of us in Taos, NM, 1971.
