Continuation of my 2001 book tour diary begun in first BLUE MEAD NOTEBOOK (ONE), 2000-2001 listed five folders above. This hand-written notebook covers July 11-August 18, 2001. Total of 105 pages. Comprising tour in Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Boulder, Denver, Durango, Saguache, train to Flagstaff (writing Aspen/Carbondale speech), Prescott, Flagstaff, Phoenix, Tucson, Aspen, Carbondale. (See MY MIDLIST WRITER, ALL-AMERICAN, ROLLING THUNDER BOOK TOUR in MANUSCRIPT FILES.) Numerous phone messages. Also trip to Denver, December 8-9, 2001 while stepfather, Lou Palmer, was in Hospice. 14 pages.

Access Restrictions

The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
