Scope and Contents
33 pages (plus 3 newspaper articles). This folder contains: 1.) Pages 1-10 are book tour schedules sent by publicist. 2.) Pages 11-15 are my riffs explaining Voice of the Butterfly before my readings. 3.) Pages 16-18 are outlines of a radio show and TV show. 4.) Pages 22-27 are flyers for my readings. 5.) Pages 28-31 are notes, directions, couple requests from readers. 6.) Pages 32-33 are a San Francisco Giants scorecard for June 7 game against Padres, where Barry Bonds hit his 33rd home run. (That year he hit 73 total, the most ever!) Page 33 is June 8 San Francisco Chronicle with story of the game, which I saw with Chronicle publicist Sarah McFall Bailey. 7.) Page 34 is a Newsweek article, August 27, 2001, about publishers putting authors on tour. 8.) Page 35 is June 4 obituary for Anthony Quinn. 9.) Page 36 is newspaper with photo of me signing at Daisy's Bookstore in Saguache, CO.

Access Restrictions
The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
