 File — Box: 141, Box: 141a

Scope and Contents

6-RING NOTEBOOK.  5 and 1/2 x 3 and 3/4 INCHES.  Amazing document.  A daily budget of what I earned and spent from June 9 to October 22, 1958 when I washed dishes at the Maple Hill Restaurant in West Hartford, CT, and lived in the downtown YMCA, and spent my spare time with girlfriend Linda Boyes before heading to college, and also caddied weekends at the Avon Country Club.  Notebook records my first couple of months at college when I received money from Pop and Mamita.  Notebook also has every pay-stub I received from the Maple Hill Restaurant from June-August!
