ENVELOPE DIARIES, 2001

 File — Box: 134, Folder: 3

Scope and Contents

Here are 82 envelope diaries dated from January 4, 2001 to December 27, 2001. This was the year of my extended book tour for Voice of the Butterfly and An American Child Supreme, a tour detailed elsewhere in my JOURNAL/DIARY and MANUSCRIPT FILES. These envelopes contain daily journals, a few dreams, some To-Do lists, and many alpine hiking and grouse hunting field notes, including the original notes for my 9/11 hike to the top of Lake Fork Peak. 14 envelope field notes cover my alpine hikes in October-November, which were the real start of my alpine hiking adventures that endured through 2009. The typed-up transcripts of these excursions can be seen in my JOURNAL/DIARY FILES.
