Scope and Contents

Here are 48 envelopes dated from January 13 to December 29, 2000. Lots of daily journals; recounting of a nightmare; mountain hikes on July 4; Rio Grande fishing July 17 (and again on September 15); trip on July 23 to Lake Fork Peak on my 60th birthday with daughter Tania; 7 September trips grouse hunting. The last envelope is my draft of a stupid advertisement/blurb plugging my forthcoming novel The Voice of the Butterfly. White Manuscript Box.

Access Restrictions

The collection is open for research, however, researchers must sign consent form prior to gaining access to materials. Calavera drawings, proofs, and etchings as well as "little diaries" (Boxes 14, 125, 126, 129, 142) are housed in high security and may require up to 24 hours for retrieval. Enlarged photocopies and typed transcriptions of "little diaries" in Box 142 are located in Box 184.
