Scope and Contents
Nine oversize maps and two aerial photographs. (A two-page inventory and description of the maps added to the collection in 2024 is also in the oversize folder.) Undated map of Albuquerque and surrounding areas; two maps of the Las Huertas Community Ditch, 1929 and 1931; map of the Placitas Irrigation System for the Placitas Community Ditch Commission, 1942. The following five maps and two aerial photographs were added to the collection in April 2024: two attached Soil Conservation Service aerial photos of El Rancho de San Francisco, Placitas, 1963; copy of Surveyor General map of the San Antonio de las Huertas Grant, 1900; copy of 1892 USGS topographical map of San Pedro, New Mexico, including nearby communities of Placitas, Uña de Gato, San Antonito, Hagan; USGS map of Hagan Quadrangle, 1954, including Diamond tail Ranch and historic communities of Hagan, Puertecito, Coyote, Tejon and others; USGS map of Placitas Quadrangle, 1954, with El Rancho de San Francisco indicated on the map; USGS map of Sandia Crest Quadrangle, 1961.
