Scope and Content
From the Collection:
The collection consists of the administrative papers, collected publications, and research of Zapatismo. Materials pertain to the struggle of the indigenous people in Chiapas, Mexico and the Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional (EZLN). The collection is arranged in two series:
Administrative includes statement of purpose, ongoing activity reports, correspondence, and event flyers.
Publications are collected from U.S., Mexican, and EZLN sources. Included are three issues of Palabras del Sur, the publication of Zapatismo. Three videorecordings (on DVD), including Cuentos para Una Soledad Desvelada are also part of this series.
