Scope and Contents
Spanish transcription and English translation, of document from Spanish Archives of New Mexico II, Rio Arriba area, 31 January 1810, from Manuel Garcia to Governor, about Utes robbing and killing cattle of Hispanics. Rio Arriba, Taos, El Pasaje de las Tusas, Maria Magdalena Valdez, man called Mestas, the interpreter. Document is from the SANM II – blue vols. at CSWR, from 1940s, but apparently is not in SANM II, NMSRCA, 1987.
