Scope and Content

From the Collection: This collection consist mainly of photographs documenting Glen Emmons's tenure as Bureau of Indian Affairs Commissioner. These are, for the most part, photographs of Emmons visiting various American Indian groups including Papago, Navajo, Eskimo, and Seminole. This collection also contains photographs of Dwight D. Eisenhower campaigning before various Indian groups.
